Ultrasonic welding uses ultrasonic energy at frequencies of horn/sonotrode (20KHz,30KHz,35KHz,40 kHz) to produce amplitude (1–30 μm) mechanical vibrations. The vibrations generate heat at the energy director which special design accoridng to the parts material and strucuture ,and then be welded together by cylinder pressure , resulting in melting of the thermoplastic materials and weld formation after cooling.
Usually the ultrasonic plastic welding only works between two compatible thermoplastics like PP,PC,ABS etc material. It's also suitable for thermal transforming processes, such as riveting, welding and embedding. And We can also used for punching and separation welding of plastics (Cut&Seal).like cutting and welding the membrane to plastic .It’s fast and precision ,also time-saving .
